Sustainable Investing

“Do well by doing good.”

You’ve probably heard this phrase. In the financial arena, it is often written or spoken in reference to impact investing – also known as socially responsible investing. At COLLIER, Sustainable Wealth Management we give our clients the option to invest according to their values and beliefs.

No other wealth manager in Seattle is doing impact investing like COLLIER.

We believe strongly in this business space and have worked diligently to create the most innovative methods of investing, in order to ensure that you are able to invest in what you believe in.

This is your chance to be an activist.

Maybe you don’t think of yourself as an activist – you don’t take to the streets, or maybe you don’t have the time or energy to get involved on the ground in social or political causes, but you want to support what you believe in. Like you, ethically-minded investors around the world are choosing to be economic activists through socially responsible investing.

Social returns aside … what about investment returns?

A few years ago, impact investing was new and imperfect, and as such, it was misunderstood. There was a belief that fund choices were limited and performance was nothing to write home about. With COLLIER’S innovative investment methods, we are changing that perception.

From the Stockholder to the Stakeholder:
How Sustainability Can Drive Financial Outperformance

In 2015, Oxford University and Arabesque Partners conducted a meta-study which categorized more than 200 sources, including academic studies, industry reports, newspaper articles and books. According to their results, “88 percent of reviewed sources find that companies with robust sustainability practices demonstrate better operational performance, which ultimately translates into cash flows.” Furthermore, “80 percent of the reviewed studies demonstrate that prudent sustainability practices have a positive influence on investment performance.”

Consider sustainable investing to benefit your ‘triple bottom line’.

You can help your bottom line as you benefit society and the planet.
